Job Purpose

Ensures loading and unloading processes function efficiently. Assists Line and Mixer operators to ensure quality production.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Loading and unloading areas are functioning efficiently.
Responsible for keeping area mixer, coating line, loader and unloader area(s) clean.
Assist operators in all aspects of production.
Pull reject panels and/or place in racks as necessary.
Repair panels that are removed for quality reasons.
Check board temperatures.
Pull and prepare board samples for QC testing.
Responsible for the system clean up, spray down process during the day and end of day clean up.
Uses radio to maintain communication with operators, maintenance, and supervisor.
Logs downtime and notes causes.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of simple equipment operation.
Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
Time management skills.
Demonstrated mechanical ability.
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

3 – 6 months experience.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
