Job Purpose
Ensures loading and unloading processes function efficiently. Assists Line and Mixer operators to ensure quality production.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Loading and unloading areas are functioning efficiently.
- Responsible for keeping area mixer, coating line, loader and unloader area(s) clean.
- Assist operators in all aspects of production.
- Pull reject panels and/or place in racks as necessary.
- Repair panels that are removed for quality reasons.
- Check board temperatures.
- Pull and prepare board samples for QC testing.
- Responsible for the system clean up, spray down process during the day and end of day clean up.
- Uses radio to maintain communication with operators, maintenance, and supervisor.
- Logs downtime and notes causes.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
What do I need to be successful?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of simple equipment operation.
- Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
- Time management skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 3 – 6 months experience.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
