Job Purpose

Support the plant in performing a combination of various tasks as a member of the team.

Job Responsibilities

•    Perform clean-up and utility duties under direction from supervisor (sweeping floors, picking up trash, painting, cleaning equipment, etc.)
•    Work in Green End operations ensuring wood is processed correctly; work in Finishing End operations ensureing that finished product is packaged and ready for customers or work in the Press area.

Job Requirements:

Education (including licenses and certifications):

GED or equivalent.

Experience:

No experience required. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Understand and obey all safety policies, standards, and regulations at company, state, and federal levels.
• Recognize and comply with all environmental policies and procedures including spill response, general waste, and wood waste procedures.
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills.
• Advanced knowledge of line position duties and functions.
• Advance knowledge of plant clean-up and utility functions.
