Job Description: 

Job Purpose

To perform predictive and preventative maintenance functions involving the Fire Protection Equipment. Ensure 
proper documentation of all required maintenance actions required by governmental and LP Policies. 

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Schedule and perform predictive and preventative fire system maintenance functions as outlined in the LP 
    Fire Protection Technician Duties work sheet (039-FORM-MTN-017).
  • Perform other duties as necessary. 
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations. 

What do I need to be successful?

  • Demonstrated self motivated skills. 
  • Knowledge of Fire Equipment upkeep and inspection techniques.
  • Expert knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Computer skills to support report and scheduling requirements for compliance requirements
  • Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Time management, organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations

 

 

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Fire fighting experience a plus

 


Experience

  • Experience preferred
