Job Purpose

Work within the regional sales team(s) in the execution of strategic goals requiring new construction installer accounts; Grow and leverage a base of key installer accounts that strengthen the sales process, achieve sales and marketing strategies, and budgeted revenue; Engage and interact with Field Sales, Marketing, and G&I to win Installer, Builder and Contractor Accounts through the value of our products and construction technologies in multiple market segments.

  • Achieve annual revenue growth target for the region(s)
  • Lead direct reports and develop talent for future career growth
  • Ensure strong, productive relationships and complete integration with Field Sales to ensure that individual performance goals are tied to regional/market sales goals
  • Participate in alignment with, and execution of, strategic sales goals for designated regions/markets through technical services to customers, builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, specifiers and third party officials
  • Raise the level of overall installation quality and brand reputation by developing and delivering value-added training to new and existing customers, builders, and municipalities; ensure that all training assets provide uniform technical messages regarding the LP product portfolio
  • Ensure that local and regional product certifications are maintained and approvals for new certifications are developed as required
  • Ensure that LP siding products and associated systems meet local needs in critical markets
  • Lead the development/updating of new/current training management systems for customers, builders, contractors, distributors, dealers, specifiers and third-party officials
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and outside sources to market LP products and services to channel partners, builders and contractors


  • Bilingual: Spanish and English
  • Leadership qualities that drive a positive growth culture through learning and adaptation
  • Excellent understanding of best construction practices and common construction practices.
  • Demonstrated competence in building envelop construction and building sciences.
  • Knowledge of  building codes and the organizations that govern them.
  • Competence in quality management processes and six sigma tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the composite manufacturing process.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to influence others.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills and diplomacy


  • Education/degree in building science, basic sciences, architecture or related fields, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates capability.


  • 10 years of experience in construction, building science, or building products industry.
  • Experience in wood composites industry is desirable.

Work Environment

  • Home office with frequent overnight travel required to meet with specifiers, code officials, builders, contractors, customers.
