Job Description: 

Job Purpose

Under the guidance and direction of the Sales Services manager, provide regional support and management for all sales and marketing activities which include: rebate management, invoicing, customer experiences, strategic partnerships and other complex assignments required for supporting a high performing sales and marketing team. You will play a key role in managing tasks designed to grow the business and increase sales by directly supporting the field sales and marketing organization.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Ongoing support for Field Sales, National Accounts, Strategic Accounts, Retail, Marketing and all levels of sales & marketing management. Support sales and marketing in the US and Canada.
  • Rebate Administration for all LP sales and business marketing programs; adhering to LP rules and regulations regarding rebate payments; process and track through SalesForce and SAP
  • Measure and analyze customer rebates
  • Review pricing and rebate issues to insure accuracy and uniformity
  • SalesForce: training of basic skills; user set-up; reports
  • Strong working relationship with sales /marketing /  vendors / strategic accounts
  • Coordinate the execution of corporate events /mill tours / sales & marketing events / customer events including site selection, negotiation with vendors, food & beverage, activities, budget management and other arrangements; book travel; prepare and report ROI.
  • Contract management
  • Design collateral for various events – sales meetings; customer events; marketing programs; trade shows; ensure all materials and programming are compliant with corporate and business quality, technical and legal standards
  • Focus on the overall customer experience and serve as a primary point of contact with sales to ensure customer satisfaction and prompt problem resolution
  • Effectively collaborate with employees from other departments and sales regions across LP; work cross-functionally to ensure flawless execution of projects and develop strong working relationships with sales, legal, marketing, strategic accounts, vendors and other key business drivers to execute strategic initiatives
  • Regional sales budget management; process and track regional and marketing invoices / payments through Ariba and SAP; liaison between Sales and Accounts Payable
  • Occasional travel as needed
  • Willing to work weekends to support business needs when needed

What do I need to be successful?

  • 3 plus years of demonstrated experience in a sales and marketing environment; or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines
  • Good analytical, quantitative and financial skills

 

 

Bonus Points If You…

  • Possess knowledge of SAP, Ariba and SalesForce
  • Good computer and supporting software skills including all MS Office products

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work arrangement: remote and in‑office presence in Nashville corporate office as required
