Job Description:
Job Purpose
Assist Dryer Operator in operation of Dryers, WESP, RTOs, and Thermal oil unit to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production of wafers conforming to established specifications
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Collects wafer samples from dryer and processes them for moisture determination, against meter, calibration
- Sets and adjusts dryer controls, when operating or starting processes
- Monitors equipment operation adjusts as requested or as needed
- Monitors conveyor and bin flows to ensure uninterrupted operations; unplugs clogs as required
- Maintains equipment in a safe, clean condition
- Monitors Pneumatic systems for proper operation
- Inspects bins to ensure bin capacities are not extended
- Trains as a Relief Dryer Operator/Trains to be next Dryer Operator
- Performs all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
- Expected to keep leaks in Dryer, Pneumatics, storage systems to “Zero” leaks
- Expected to learn and train in WESP area to maintain 100% compliance in WESP equipment operations
- Expected to maintain 100% compliance with all Environmental, Housekeeping standards, and policies for area.
What do I need to be successful?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of simple equipment operation.
- Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
- Time management skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 3 – 6 months experience.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
