Job Purpose
Increase Structural Solutions specific sales representation in the Pacific Northwest US Region to promote, grow, and accelerate the STS portfolio through AEC, builder and dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
- Aid in the awareness, adoption, development, and conversion of LP Structural Solutions in target geography
- Develop relationships and drive specification with AEC community along with builders and dealers
- Develop strategic network of Structural Solutions Dealers in the region that leverages and inventories LP Structural Solutions product offerings (Legacy & Adhesive, TopNotch 350, WeatherLogic, TechShield, FlameBlock, and NovaCore)
- Partner within LP’s General Sales Manager, National Account Mangers, Territory Sales Managers to meet individual territory sales and regional Structural Solutions growth targets.
- Yearly OSB contract renewal management and growth of Structural Solutions dealers in specified region
- Work with Structural Solutions dealer and distribution network to convert large builder targets (non-national account) to LP’s OSB portfolio of Structural Solutions offerings.
- Create regional value proposition working on marketing the line to provide best in class support to the structural solutions dealer.
- Be a liaison between the General Sales Manager, Territory Sales Managers and the LP Inside OSB trader and management team.
- Structural Solutions dealers incented/required to commercialize new LP products for quicker market penetration and new product investment returns to LP.
- Conduit between building sciences team leads, technical resources, product managers, and inside OSB sales teams to external stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of previous forest products sales experience (Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position)
- Knowledge of manufacturing/operation/logistics capabilities
- Strong knowledge of market trends, market drivers, and supply chain
- Ability to employ negotiating strategies and gather market intelligence.
- Thorough knowledge of product performance, applications, and warranties
