Job Purpose

We are seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to plan and deliver change activities that support successful adoption of business processes and technology initiatives. This role partners with project managers, business leaders, HR/L&D, and communications to assess impacts, prepare stakeholders, enable end users, and reinforce new ways of working to achieve intended business outcomes.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and execute integrated change management plans (stakeholder engagement, communications, training, readiness, and reinforcement) to maximize adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Partner with project managers to align OCM deliverables to project milestones (design, test, cutover, go-live, and hypercare) and to manage change risks and dependencies.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, stakeholder analyses, and readiness assessments; translate findings into targeted change actions by audience (leaders, managers, end users).
  • Design and manage communications for change initiatives (key messages, channels, cadence, and feedback loops) in partnership with business and communications stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute training enablement plans (materials, job aids, and delivery approach) to build end-user readiness and proficiency.
  • Identify resistance points and change risks; build mitigation plans (leader actions, targeted communications, coaching, and reinforcement) and escalate where needed.
  • Coach sponsors and people leaders on their change roles and provide tools to help them lead teams through change.
  • Prepare concise status updates, dashboards, and presentations for leadership summarizing progress, readiness, risks/issues, and planned mitigation actions.
  • Proactively assist in maturing the OCM practice at LP

What do I need to be successful?

  • 5+ years of experience supporting organizational change initiatives (technology and/or process), project delivery, communications, or training enablement.
  • Demonstrated, hands-on experience delivering change management activities for technology and/or process initiatives (or a mix of PM and OCM experience), with a minimum of three years focused specifically on OCM
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with common OCM tools and deliverables (stakeholder analysis, impact and readiness assessments, communications and training plans, resistance management, and reinforcement).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Change management certification preferred (e.g., Prosci ADKAR or equivalent)

Work Environment

  • This position will be remote, working in a home office environment.
  • Travel required up to 60% of time to various mill locations and our Nashville, TN HQ. Travel may occasionally include weekends.Travel required to support project deployments and stakeholder engagement.
