Job Description: 

Job Purpose

To assist in managing the site reliability program while performing additional maintenance duties as assigned.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain system reliability through the use and application of test and analysis equipment to include but not limited to:
    • Thermographic imaging
    • Vibration analysis
    • Ultrasonic detection
    • Precision alignment
    • Lubrication management
    • Balancing
  • Manage condition-based monitoring systems including but not limited to Vibration, Ultrasonic, and Infrared imaging by means of:
    • Building and performing inspection routes
    • Adjusting route frequencies
    • Utilizing the EAM work order system
    • Analyzing data
    • Populating databases
    • Trend analysis
    • Making recommendations to address predictive needs identified before failures occur.
  • Responsible for the condition & maintenance of condition monitoring equipment including but not limited to software and firmware updates, back-ups, and yearly calibrations.
  • Responsible for managing and creating equipment condition health reports.
  • Can work with project people when preventative or predictive activities are part of an ongoing reliability solution.
  • Manage and oversee key elements of the Mobile Oil Analysis Program, including drawing samples, interpreting analysis reports, and developing follow-up work orders in EAM for corrective actions.
  • Assist in inventory management, inventory, and critical spare parts.
  • Provide guidance and training to others, may lead special projects and monitor the performance of personnel working on assigned systems and components.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety and environmental rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary and as assigned by supervision.

What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematic drawings and specifications.
  • Computer literate, able to use programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet Explorer, etc.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, prepare reports and make presentations.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities, ability to lead small teams and / or present analysis findings.
  • Ability to learn new software.
  • Able and qualified to operate forklifts, and ariel lifts.
  • Ability to read and understand safety & environmental rules and regulations.
  • Ability to demonstrate clear, effective radio communication to coordinate with team members

 

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years vocational / technical training or higher preferred but not required
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

 

Work Environment

• Manufacturing plant environment with exposure to varying hot and cold temperatures.
• Work conditions may include dust, dirt, and proximity to moving machinery.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Ability to safely operate mobile equipment.
• Ability to work at elevated heights.
• Ability to see and hear approaching or moving equipment to ensure safe operation.
