Job Purpose

Interact at the senior level within multi-location distributor customer with revenue responsibilities ranging from $40MM - $250MM per year.  Deliver share and revenue growth across all LP businesses through effective sales execution delivering 12%+ growth per year.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide business growth by executing the siding & structural solutions strategy and gaining appropriate new product placement along with 12% revenue growth.
  • Develop and manage key relationships at the senior customer level across all LP businesses.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Develop and communicate voice of the customer to be included in internal business decisions.
  • Lead negotiation of pricing and program expansion.
  • Create compelling business cases to secure new business.
  • Lead executive level presentations and proposals.
  • Identify new business opportunities through market understanding of the manufactured housing as well of the multifamily segments.
  • Create and present new business concepts and proposals in conjunction with the National Sales and Marketing Manager.
  • Understand customer’s business and respond to customer issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
  • Maintain files of in-house and competitive programs.
  • Develop effective communication and coordination with LP business teams and LP management. Maintain the LP distribution agreement, data sharing agreement and exclusivity addendum.
  • Serve as the centralized communication point between LP and customer.   Provide direct or indirect solutions to account problems to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Produce and distribute sales and inventory information from customer account systems for internal use. Partner with finance to resolve program and pricing issues from an accounts receivable perspective. Analyze sales reports for accuracy and trends.
  • Provide input into LP’s annual operating budget and sales forecast
  • Maintain budgetary control of expenses
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

  • Knowledge of customer account structure (merchandising, inventory, logistics) and how each interacts with vendors
  • Ability to align a team toward specific goals and advise of specific business requirements
  • Ability to develop, interpret and present market data


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.


  • 10 years of demonstrated sales and marketing experience, including 2 years of National Accounts management experience preferred.
  • Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.



  • Conducts work typically in an office environment, working at a desk or computer terminal.
  • Occasionally travels between departments or building.
  • Frequent travel (50-60%).
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly.
