Job Purpose

To provide complex support within an assigned area and discipline by providing accurate, consistent, and timely information and support to department management and end users

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Coordinate with IT and assist discipline management with troubleshooting application problems, modifications and enhancements and provide quality assurance on those approved enhancements/modifications. 
  • Responsible for responding to user questions and provide second line support for end users. 
  • Assist BI team in developing reports through requirement gathering, testing and implementation
  • Participate in design reviews, create functional needs analysis and define product requirements to improve usability and system value
  • Assist in the development of processing efficiencies through thorough knowledge of data processing requirements
  • Assist in the development of effective systems that process the distribution of vendor payments and application of customer cash receipts
  • Assist with change management as it’s related to corporate initiatives and/or process efficiency implementations
  • Provide training plans and materials for end users and adapt training in conjunction with system changes and upgrades
  • Maintain effective relationships across many process streams including but not limited to PTP and FTM to ensure end to end processing efficiencies
  • Lead the knowledge transfer to management, developers and end users
  • Attend other duties and special projects as assigned
  • Travel may be required
  • Prepare statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports
  • Process accounts payables and/or accounts receivables. Balance accounts
  • Work with vendors and customers in resolving account issues and discrepancies
  • Assume tasks and responsibilities as other accounting clerks and/or supervisor as needed
  • Perform miscellaneous office duties
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary

What do I need to be successful?

  • 3 - 5 years' accounting or clerical experience required
  • Or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
  • Expert knowledge of business concepts and applications in assigned business area
  • Proficiency with multiple operating systems and working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Proven ability to operate a computer and supporting software


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferred and/or related experience equivalent
