Job Purpose
Your mission is to help LP Building Solutions grow our corporate awareness and engagement as a critical member of the Corporate Marketing team. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the Corporate and Siding Marketing teams by designing and executing against best in class social media strategies across LP owned channels for professional and homeowner audiences. You will be responsible for managing and fostering brand growth, community engagement, content creation, reporting and optimization for LP’s social media channels.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Contribute to the Corporate and Siding marketing strategies by leveraging social media to identify, acquire and foster brand loyalty with customers.
- Design, execute and optimize social media strategies to achieve team and company goals.
- Support growth of market share by developing social media marketing plans and programs for Corporate and Siding brands, including the holistic LP product portfolio and SmartSide® Trim and Siding product portfolio.
- Lead LP’s social listening and engagement to foster and maintain community engagement.
- Ensure consistency in branding, creative and messaging across all social media platforms.
- Provide short and long-term market trend forecasts and reports by directing marketing research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
- Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies and social media best practices to develop new approaches for market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
- Build strong relationships with agencies and other strategic vendors to ensure quality communications and flawless execution, including adherence to the creative briefs, budgets, and timelines
- Influence and complete social media marketing department operational requirements by guiding employees and following up on work results.
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional business partners to facilitate flawless execution. Be a strong, contributing member of assigned business teams.
- Create and execute a financial plan for social media boosting.
- Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Some travel required to collect content and execute market research.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field required. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Social Media discipline certification from Hootsuite, Hubspot, Content Marketing Institute, and/or another reputable SaaS institution a plus.
EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of work experience in Digital Marketing and social media specific job positions
- Experience with social listening, publishing and monitoring platforms such as Hootsuite, SalesForce Social Studio, Sprinklr, etc.
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and/or Canva skills a plus
- Ability to effectively manage and keep projects on track
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of/passion for the building industry a plus
