Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our accounting team as a Shared Services Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments and reconciling accounts. In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Process invoices and credits.
  • Work with vendors and customers in resolving account issues and discrepancies.
  • Prepare statements, invoices, and moderately complex reports.
  • Assist with change management as it’s related to corporate initiatives and/or process efficiency implementations.
  • Provide training plans and materials for end users and adapt training in conjunction with system changes and upgrades.
  • Assist with data management of vendor and customer master files.
  • Collaborate with adjacent departments to streamline processes.
  • Attend to other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Detailed oriented and capable of routinely performing repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Travel may be required.

What do I need to be successful?

  • 2-4 years accounting or clerical experience required
  • Or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP with preferred experience in SAP and Ariba.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and math skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Expert knowledge of business concepts and applications in assigned business area.
  • Proven ability to operate a computer and supporting software.
  • Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business preferredand/or related experience equivalent

Work Environment

  • This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule
  • Must live within a commutable distance to Nashville or willing to relocate to the greater Nashville area
