Job Purpose

Your mission is to help LP Building Solutions grow our corporate awareness and engagement as a critical member of the Corporate Marketing team. In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the Corporate and Siding Marketing teams by designing and executing best in class earned media and influencer marketing strategies for key audiences including but not limited to media relations, customers, consumers, and internal communications. You will be responsible for managing and fostering brand growth, community and media engagement, influencer recruiting and management, content creation, and optimization for LP’s earned media and influencer marketing strategies and processes.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement earned media, influencer, content creator and brand ambassador programs that drive acquisition, retention and engagement for the Corporate and Siding brands
  • Identify new and relevant influencer potential partners and brainstorm approaches for future influencer campaign
  • Partner with cross-functional leads to align influencer marketing plans to key campaigns and corporate business initiatives throughout the year
  • Assist in onboarding new earned media and/or influencer marketing tools and work to build LP influencer network, PR, and awards and recognition opportunities
  • Own project management of influencer marketing and earned media efforts and oversee / delegate day-to-day influencer efforts across the team
  • Tracking and reporting: Set clear campaign goals and KPIs while consistently tracking and reporting against them.
  • Leverage industry and historical benchmarks to measure success, share both qualitative and quantitative insights, and develop action plans to optimize content performance and future campaigns
  • Provide thought leadership and forward-looking opportunities on influencer and earned media by staying current with competitive activity, cultural trends, industry innovations, tools, and platforms
  • Contribute to the Corporate and Siding marketing strategies by leveraging earned media and influencers to identify, acquire and foster brand loyalty with customers and consumers and expand into new markets, verticals, and channels (TikTok/YouTube) for the Corporate and Siding brands
  • Recruit, vet and create content with brand influencers that support defined brand goals
  • Work with influencer talent management to negotiate and develop contracts for opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with agencies and other strategic vendors to ensure quality communications and flawless execution, including adherence to the creative briefs, budgets, and timelines
  • Drive earned media marketing department operational impact by guiding employees and influencing work results
  • Ensure consistency in branding, creative and messaging across all key earned media messaging
  • Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations. 
  • Some travel required to lead earned media/influencer marketing activations

  • A track record of success in managing agency/vendor relationships to set and deliver agreed upon goals
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment and relate to all levels of employees and vendors
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter who can quickly assess business needs with a bias toward action
  • Clear written and oral communication and grammar skills
  • Must be able to work within company brand standards and follow company content style guides
  • Ability to be proactive in problem solving and idea generation required
  • Ability to action against and give constructive feedback on creative executions


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field required. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • MBA in one of the above disciplines is a plus



  • 5+ years of work experience in Earned Media, PR, External Communications, and/or Influencer Management specific job positions
  • Experience with earned media publishing and monitoring platforms such as Meltwater, Cision, Muck Rack, etc.
  • Experience creating and executing media campaigns
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, vetting, creating content, and building loyalty with brand influencers
  • Ability to effectively manage and keep projects on track
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Understanding of/passion for the building industry a plus
