Job Description: 

Job Purpose

This role is responsible for designing and implementing channel growth programs.  You will lead the programming function to achieve business unit goals and ensure best practices corporately.  Provide leadership to optimize strategy and tactical execution.  Serve as key liaison between sales leadership and marketing for programming.  Establish and implement key programming processes and tools.  Provide leadership and own day to day programming decisions and implementation. 

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Accountable for continuous improvements in Program management, monitoring, and strategy while fostering a culture within business unit based on best practices across all LP business units 
  • Deliver planned volume, revenue, and profit targets and drive LP’s strategic growth targets
  • Provide strategic leadership and input to business teams around the areas of Program management, data and trend analysis and assist in the creation of ongoing business strategies
  • Own and manage the day to day Programming decisions
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key strategic external & internal customers
  • Work with sales and portfolio management to ensure business/regional/segment profit goals are met on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure margin optimization through implementation of Pricing and Programming best practices in collaboration with management
  • Measure and maintain Programming by account and channel type
  • Coordinate with Pricing manager to ensure total profitability by channel is maintained
  • Lead the development, alignment, execution, and analysis of the results of plans and programs designed to deliver volume and profit growth for the channel. Measure and communicate the results of programs, develop and synthesize key learnings and communicate them throughout LP. Lead programs to improve business results in the channel

What do I need to be successful?

  • Proven strategic and leadership capabilities, particularly the ability to drive results without direct reporting authority
  • Thorough knowledge of programming strategy and best practices
  • Experience driving organizational change
  • Well-developed communicating and negotiating skills with internal/external customers.
  • Sound computer, written and oral communications skills.
  • Excellent internal and external conflict resolution skills.
  • Outstanding Microsoft Excel skills
  • SAP, Power BI, or Tableau experience preferred

EXPERIENCE 

  • 7+ years related pricing/sales/marketing experience preferred
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business equivalent experience.
  • MBA preferred

Work Environment

  • Office environment
  • Travel 15-20%
