In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- May answer phones in main reception area within a corporate reception office and using a large, multi-line switchboard; direct calls as appropriate
- Greet, process, and direct visitors; provide general customer service and information as requested
- May sort, open, and process incoming and outgoing mail and prepare packages for mailing; may be required to pick-up and deliver mail at off-site locations
- May compute and enter data into a database system
- Maintain office supply inventory and ensure materials are stocked and organized.
- Facilitate general office communication and administrative coordination.
- Provide administrative support to department leaders as assigned.
What do I need to be successful?
- 1-2 years of experience in an office environment; experience with a multi-line switchboard preferred. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
- Knowledge of large, multi-line switchboard systems
- Good clerical and mathematical skills
- Ability to operate standard office equipment
- Ability to operate a computer and supporting software
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent required
