Job Description: 

Job Purpose

Equip the organization with the capabilities to enhance sales and marketing effectiveness and design of high impact strategies through the development and integration of technology, data sourcing, and overall data analyses solutions that support fact-based decision-making, leading to effective customer engagement strategies, improved internal collaboration, and support for critical business processes such as sales forecasting/production planning and sales performance tracking.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  •  Assign, coordinate and review work of the managed team to align with business priorities and project solution delivery timelines
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to assess the effectiveness of sales initiatives and campaigns
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to enhance sales tactics and processes
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential opportunities and threats
  • Analyze competitor performance and industry trends to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts
  • Assist in creating sales plans and targets based on historical data and market analysis
  • Act as liaison between sales & marketing leadership and IT to establish needs, priorities, and provide oversight for solution-development/implementation for managed projects
  • Maintain and apply knowledge of programs/technology/services available in the marketplace to increase effectiveness of solutions and efficiencies for the business
  • Work with IT vendors & service providers to manage business requirements in support of project objectives and ongoing platform maintenance
  • Manage the workflow and data integration of key business processes, including Sales and Marketing Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), Annual Sales & Marketing Budgeting, Resource Allocation models, Segment Allocation Reporting (SAR), sales forecasting to support S&OP production planning, and others as assigned
  • Engage with customers as necessary to develop robust reporting capabilities that support sales performance measurement and demand planning
  • Develop team competency for delivering analyses of sales data and market insights, and provide guidance to business leadership on risks, opportunities, and returns on investment
  • Develop and deliver change management solutions and training for sales & marketing as it relates to operating platforms and relevant operating processes
  • Provide analyses of complex, cross-business, and cross-functional issues surrounding LPs business process and systems in support of aligning with business strategies and objectives
  • Hire, coach, mentor and evaluate employees, ensuring the development of competency with our operating platforms; provide clear communication and leadership
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
