In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Be directly responsible for promoting continuous improvement in Order Fulfillment and Customer Service
- Achieve best return to the OSB Business by developing and implementing effective pricing and customer service strategies and driving a higher margin product mix
- Accountable for continuous improvement to processes and procedures in the department
- Manage 2-3 large Strategic Accounts
- Participate in forecasting, logistics and production planning
- Manage the execution of the Top 20 Account Plans
- Lead and oversee daily pricing and product mix strategy decisions
- Manage the hiring, training and performance plans of team members to ensure effective succession management within team
- Execute weekly and daily meetings with OSB Inventory Manager to ensure proper mix and scheduling
- Responsible for the execution of Market Back Plans
- Initiate and monitor new programs in account development process
- Lead and manage secondary sales areas (i.e. job quotes, builder programs, export sales, multi-family projects, etc.)
- Participate in customers’ trade shows and customer outings (meetings, representations, booth set-up, etc.)
- Cultivate and maintain relationships and effective communication with Fields sales team, internal and external customers
- Coordinate with Logistics and mill shipping personnel, ensuring day-to-day execution of delivery schedules
- Provide support to the Warranty Customer Service team to resolve claims/complaints
- Travel 10-20%
What do I need to be successful?
- 3 to 5 year’s previous forest products sales experience (Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position)
- Knowledge of manufacturing/operation/logistics capabilities
- Strong knowledge of market trends, market drivers, and supply chain
- Ability to employ negotiating strategies and gather market intelligence
- Thorough knowledge of product performance, applications, and warranties

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
