Job Purpose
This position will support our Tax team as a Summer Intern from May 2026 – August 2026 and will be based in Nashville. This is a paid, full-time internship. This internship will offer hands-on experience in corporate income tax compliance, provision support, tax research, and indirect taxes. The intern will work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to real-world tax processes in a dynamic business environment.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Assist with preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns
- Support quarterly and year-end tax provision calculations (ASC 740)
- Help gather and organize financial data for tax filings and audits
- Perform basic tax research and summarize findings for the team
- Assist in maintaining tax workpapers and documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects
What do I need to be successful?
- Basic knowledge of accounting and tax concepts
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Accounting or Tax
- Must have an expected graduation date of August 2026 or later
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Work Environment
- This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule
