Job Purpose
We are looking for a creative and results-driven Earned Media & Influencer Specialist to elevate our brand presence through strategic media outreach and influencer partnerships. This role is responsible for building relationships with media outlets, journalists and influencers to secure high-impact coverage and authentic collaboration that drive brand awareness, credibility and engagement.
In this role, you will serve as a key partner to the Corporate, Siding and Structural Brand teams by working alongside the Earned Media manager and brand managers. You will be responsible for supporting the Earned Media & Influencer manager, managing day-to-day operations of projects.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Partner with the manager to develop and execute earned media strategies that align with brand priorities and campaigns
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key media contacts across print, digital, broadcast and trade outlets
- Draft compelling press materials, including press releases, pitches and media alerts, along with company blogs for our website
- Proactively pitch stories to secure media coverage and through leadership opportunities
- Monitor media trends and identify opportunities for brand inclusion in timely conversations
- Track, measure and report on media coverage providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Identify, vet and build relationships with influencers and content creators that align with the brand
- Collaborate with influencers to create authentic, engaging content to amplify key messages
- Monitor influencer campaigns and partnership for brand alignment
- Analyze results and provide regular reports on influencer program effectiveness
- Manage payment processing for influencer and media team
- Perform other duties as necessary

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field required. Relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience
- 1+ years of work experience in Marketing, PR, communications or related field
- Experience with PR and influencer tools (ex: Sprout, Tagger, Muck Rack, etc.)
- Proactive team player with a collaborative approach
- Understanding of/passion for the building industry a plus
