Job Purpose


Act as a change agent, leading LP’s evolution in best practice procurement capabilities by implementing an operating model and governance structures where strategic sourcing is driven from an enterprise-wide perspective. Strong relationship skills and the ability to interface at all levels of the enterprise will help this person successfully manage any resistance and work through the challenges common with organizational change.

Key Responsibilities


If this sounds like you, join our growing team! In this position, you will have the opportunity to:


  • Collaborates with leadership to establish both short-term and long-term Procurement strategies and objectives.
  • Elevates Procurement’s status and advocating on Procurement’s behalf both with executive management and with peers
  • Drives Procurement change across the company.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with business unit leadership and strategic supplier partners
  • Communicates strategies, priorities, goals, challenges, and results to LP’s executives and stakeholders.
  • Leads LP’s enterprise strategic sourcing program and supports complex sourcing efforts and negotiations with preferred and high value vendors.
  • Leads the company’s implementation of SAP Ariba
  • Global process champion, innovating, and implementing continuous improvement opportunities in Procurement processes, procedures, and systems, and governance structures
  • Builds a best-in-class Procurement organization by hiring / retaining and developing top talent





  • At least 10 years of experience in Business, Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, or Consulting
  • Demonstrated management capabilities, especially related to leading strategic initiatives, driving performance, leading change efforts, and producing superior results
  • SAP and SAP Ariba experience is desirable
  • Strategic thinker and visionary
  • Recognized as a change agent
  • Entrepreneurial perspective
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and manage teams and develop personnel
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple business models and priorities
  • Flexible nature and comfortable with “gray areas”




  • Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA is desirable
