Job Purpose
Direct and oversee the strategic and operational aspects of LP’s Business Applications supporting the SAP and Edge Applications Groups to plan, design, implement, and maintain the Company’s IT Applications and Architecture.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Direct and oversee the overall IT Applications function (including SAP and Edge Applications) through software & service selection, application support, enhancements, and solution development
- Work with CIO and business leaders to develop & execute corporate IT vision and strategy to support business objectives
- Support the CIO in representing IT programs and issues at the business and company leadership levels
- Direct and oversee activities of the SAP and Edge Applications Teams and their interactions with businesses or functions
- Optimize business processes through the use of information systems and provide an effective end-to-end support model including oversight of external support service providers
- Direct and align resources across application teams to ensure appropriate resource allocation & seamless business support
- Establish IT policies, programs and applications
- Direct and implement processes and governance for all Application Support activity
- Direct teams of technical, professional, and management staff in the successful fulfillment of IT service delivery commitments
- Develop and manage Business Applications budget including capital budget ($8-12 million annual operating budget)
- Develop and recommend capital expenditures to support IT business needs and objectives
- Some travel required
What do I need to be successful?
- 10 plus years of demonstrated Information Technology related management experience
- Or any combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective management methods
- Experience in managing internally and externally hosted corporate IT applications
- Demonstrated knowledge of current and emerging technology, technology directions and strategic application to business needs
- Knowledge of budgeting and strategic planning processes
- Effective leadership, interpersonal, organizational and management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Work Environment
- This position will work at home and in our Nashville office on a hybrid schedule
- Must be within a commutable distance to Nashville or willing to relocate to the greater Nashville area
