Job Purpose

Effectively lead the Customer Experience team to deliver the company's customer segmentation strategy, meet and exceed customer expectations, and champion the needs of the customer into the end-to-end supply chain. This is delivered through a combination of service, cost, inventory, and customer satisfaction results.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage assigned customer accounts
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external and internal customers within the assigned account base
  • Be directly responsible for promoting continuous improvement in Order Fulfillment and Customer Experience
  • Participate in forecasting, logistics and production planning
  • Provide weekly input to Supply Chain Planner that achieves desired production, order file, and delivery schedules.
  • Serves as coach and mentor to inside sales personnel
  • Oversees performance and development of inside sales team.
  • Actively engaged in monitoring industry developments, including market changes, competitive landscape
  • Actively collaborates with fields sales and national accounts to advance siding growth strategy
  • Takes calculated risks to improve outcomes with a bias to action and execution.
  • Promotes vision by providing customers with creative and broad-based solutions to assist in achieving their goals.
  • Works collectively with inside sales and customers to ensure effective communication.
  • Initiate and monitor new programs in account development process
  • Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary

What do I need to be successful?

  • 2-4 years of inside sales management, supply chain management or order fulfillment management.
  • Strong professional sales and consultative skills, ability to coach and mentor growing sales team.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of business and management principles, including resource allocation, leadership and coordination of people and resources.
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  • Ability to function effectively in cross-functional work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, math, and persuasion skills preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field; Advanced degree strongly desired
