Job Purpose

Direct and manage the implementation of an integrated supply chain strategy, leading the expansion of supply chain tools across LP while ensuring coordination among LP businesses, functions (i.e. IT, Logistics, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Procurement, etc.) and external partners (i.e. Suppliers, Customers).

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct opportunity analyses for project planning, prioritization, and approval. Determine financial objectives of supply chain capability enhancement initiatives in accordance with strategic business planning and functional goals.

  • In collaboration with the businesses, develop the implementation strategy of supply chain planning tools – supply chain network optimization, demand planning, inventory management, supply planning, order fulfillment, production planning etc. for LP businesses and external partners.

  • Design, Implement and drive IBP/APO/LLamasoft/ECC based Supply chain planning projects

  • Lead sessions for requirement gathering, business blueprints, testing, training, scenario configuration, system demo, simulations, Fit gap analysis etc.

  • Hands on configuration of planning systems ( APO, IBP, Llamasoft)

  • Develop and integrate short-term and long-term plans including three to five-year strategic plans for supply chain with LP businesses.

  • Define, implement, and track key supply chain operating metrics (i.e. inventory turns, on-time shipments, etc) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain processes.

  • Identify and communicate industry best practices and technology trends. Apply SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference) model best practices as appropriate.

  • Manage department budgets.

  • Ability to travel

What do I need to be successful?

  • 5+ year of IBP implementation/support experience

  • APO experience is a big plus

  • ECC /LLamasoft experience is a plus

  • In-depth understanding of supply chain management processes and concepts

  • Thorough knowledge of supply chain planning tools

  • Ability to also deliver as an individual contributor

  • Ability to lead a team for Supply chain projects

  • Ability to operate a computer and supporting software programs

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
