Job Purpose
In this role, you will use your keen insight and analytical skills to understand the behaviors of retail and dealer customers (The Home Depot, Lowe’s, 84 Lumber, Beacon, etc) along with their respective customers and ensure customer marketing activities are focused accordingly. You will leverage insights for the creation and development of defined shopper related marketing plans across all channels and accounts within a defined go-to market framework to satisfy the needs of targeted shoppers and enhance the shopping experience. Creating and executing account specific programs resulting in the enhancements of retailer relationships/collaboration, brand equity building and increased revenue and profitability in the role.
Your business acumen will be valued, and you will provide inputs into development, activation, and execution of shopper related marketing strategies. You are known for your exceptional relationships skills and taking on challenges and obstacles in a confident and collaborative way.
This role will lead the execution of channel marketing plans and programs to drive revenue and profit growth in key strategic channels across LP’s businesses. Oversee all associated marketing activities, partner item set up, tracking and analysis and other marketing tasks designed to grow the business.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Grow the business with our retail and channel partners

Develop specific channel and customer marketing opportunities, through collaboration with sales, brand, innovation and other segment teams which will result in channel related marketing plans

Manage multiple account marketing execution plans and tactics

Ensure channel activation plans are executed on time, within budget and achieve ROI metrics

Identify and recommend adjustments based on competitive threats across the market

Report on in-market activation analytics including ROI and promo analysis for post event recommendations

Develop strong relationships with key strategic customers and internal cross-functional partners to ensure flawless execution of projects

Build deep expertise on the assigned channel(s) to understand channel and customer trends, opportunities for LP to gain competitive advantage in the channel, capitalize on growth opportunities, and deliver superior volume and profit results

Establish strong relationships and communication with key internal and external partners.
What do I need to be successful?

5+ years’ business, marketing, and/or sales management experience or any equivalent combination

Background in digital marketing, e-commerce and have retail and/or channel marketing experience

Demonstrated ability to work independently in the development and execution of customer marketing strategy and planning

Demonstrated ability to effectively work on multiple projects while keeping them on track

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision making across all levels of the organization and build authentic and positive relationships internally and externally

Professionalism and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal along with analytical skills

Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter who can quickly assess business needs with a bias toward action

Strong ability to manage external vendors and agency partners
Bonus Points If You…

1-3 years’ experience with retail media networks

Ability to think through issues and opportunities from the customer’s perspective

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or equivalent experience
