JOB PURPOSE:

 Your mission is to help Louisiana Pacific grow our Siding business by developing marketing strategies, building relationships, and creating customer-specific, demand-driving programs to motivate decision makers within the New Construction space to use LP Siding in their building projects.

If this sounds like you, join our growing team! In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Support our sales team as we work to grow our share with national builders.
  • Set the strategy and develop materials for engagement: define toolkits and resources needed to deliver revenue commitments and provide direction for cross-functional teams.
  • Represent LP with the largest and most critical customers in the New Construction space.
  • Build and grow programs that drive engagement and loyalty among the segment.
  • Ensure the voice of the customer and the needs of field sales are incorporated into marketing plans and activation.
  • Establish strong relationships and communication with key internal and external partners.
  • 40% travel expectation
  • Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as necessary

 

WHAT DO I NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL?

  • Professionalism and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to participate in and support sales in customer meetings.
  • Proven success in the development and execution of marketing strategy.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the confidence to lead and engage key partners.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter who can quickly assess business needs with a bias toward action.
  • Strong ability to manage external vendors and agency partners.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision making across all levels of the organization.
     

EDUCATION 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field preferred.
  • MBA a plus.

 

EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum 5+ years of work experience in Marketing as a Marketing leader.
  • Experience working directly with customers to establish marketing as a key component of joint business plans.
  • Experience in creative briefing, campaign, and program development.
  • Understanding of/passion for the building industry a plus.
