Job Description: 

Job Purpose

  • Journeyman certification, 3rd and 4th Levels may be considered
  • 5 years’ experience in an industrial setting preferred
  • Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting mechanical equipment
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Competent, defined as the demonstrated ability/fitness to perform the duties of the job

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform equipment maintenance duties 
  • Ensure the proper lock out and isolation of equipment to zero energy under the guidance of the Energy Operator.
  • Completely and accurately fill out all required reports and log book.
  • Operate all equipment in accordance with design.
  • Perform safe start up and shut down of equipment.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Must be physically fit and able to carry up to 50 lbs, negotiate stairs while carrying heavy items and work in an environment which will be hot at times.
  • Ability to use computer and supporting software
  • 1+ years’ industry experience and required education/training
  • Or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position
