Job Description: 

Job Purpose

To develop maintenance, electrical and production PM procedures. Schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks. To serve as Reliability team leader, assigning and maintaining Reliability team members work assignments.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Schedule and perform complex preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
  • Schedule and perform complex equipment repairs.
  • Perform general fabrication and machinist work.
  • Troubleshoot problems as necessary.
  • Take elective cross training.
  • Liaise with supervisors, vendors and other personnel to resolve issues and coordinate reliability PM activities.
  • Maintain records of parts and supplies and ensure their availability for Reliability team activities.
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all work performed including maintenance cost and activities.
  • Serve as Reliability team leader, assign daily work to the reliability team.
  • Work closely with Maintenance Reliability Tech.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

 

What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of lubrication, maintenance, electrical best practice.
  • In depth knowledge of EAM or other CMMS.
  • Expert knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
  • Expert knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
  • Strong time management, organization and prioritizing skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and written repair manuals.
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years’ of technical training in general maintenance.

Experience:

  • 8+ years’ general maintenance experience required.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
