Job Description:
Job Purpose
To schedule and perform preventative and predictive maintenance functions as a journeyman level Millwright under minimal supervision.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Consistently demonstrate safety as the highest priority and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
- Schedule and perform complex preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
- Schedule and perform complex equipment repairs.
- Perform general fabrication and machinist work.
- Troubleshoot problems, as necessary.
- Take elective cross training.
- Communicate with Lead Millwright, Maintenance Supervisor, Site Supply Department and venders for parts and supplies.
- Communicate with operators about maintenance items (handoff meeting, work orders, etc.).
- Assure adequate spare parts and components exits for repair.
- Other duties as assigned by Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, and Plant Superintendent.
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to all environmental policies and procedures including: Spill response, general waste disposal, and hazardous material handling procedures.

- Possess the ability and desire to follow all safety rules, policies, standards and constantly demonstrate safe work practices while performing all duties.
- Expert knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
- Expert knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
- Expert troubleshooting skills.
- Self-motivated and results oriented.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of work order systems (MP2 or equivalent) or ability to learn.
- Team player who develops rapport with others, has good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work day shift or 12-hour shift as required.
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft programs.
- Performs general machining work.
- Knowledge of pollution control equipment repairs (RTOs/RCOs/ESPs, etc.).
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years labor/machine maintenance work experience.
- Knowledge of building structure repair and machine fabrication.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
