Job Purpose

To lead operations in the shipping department

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Complete daily warehouse inventory
• Completes packaging/finished goods inventory
• Oversees T&G, TechShield and shipping processes
• Login/release railcars
• Oversees downtime events for T&G and TechShield lines
• Prepares and completed monthly product inventory
• Tag for Tag inventory for finished products
• Response to mill forklift needs
• Completes work requests for T&G, TechShield and shipping department
• Trains employees on equipment operation in shipping department
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

• Demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Demonstrated ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license

Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in equipment operation.
• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Work Environment

Plant environment with exposure to sawdust, chemicals, extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and other inclement conditions (rain, etc.).
