Job Purpose

To operate TechShield equipment in an OSB manufacturing facility.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Operate Techshield equipment to produce a product that compliant to quality specifications
Complete quality tape testing and complete quality check sheet
Complete and assist with maintenance on machine and equipment related to Techshield production
Maintain label printer machine
Assist in coordinating production events with sawline operator
Ensure that product produced is grade to specification
Work with forklift and shipping crew to organize production runs
Perform other duties as necessary.
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of simple equipment operation.
Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
Time management skills.
Demonstrated mechanical ability.
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Required to bend, lift, stoop, and pull
Required to work at heights
Monitoring multiple tasks along with equipment failures

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

3 – 6 months experience.
Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Work Environment

OSB manufacturing facility with exposure to heat, cold and other inclement conditions; sawdust exposure
