Job Purpose

To operate the TechShield line equipment with repetitive functions. 

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

• Operate Techshield equipment to produce a product that compliant to quality specifications
• Complete quality tape testing and complete quality check sheet
• Complete and assist with maintenance on machine and equipment related to Techshield production
• Maintain label printer machine
• Assist in coordinating production events with sawline operator
• Ensure that product produced is grade to specification
• Work with forklift and shipping crew to organize production runs
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.

What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of simple equipment operation.
• Knowledge of general equipment maintenance.
• Time management skills.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

Education:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

• 1-2 years' experience in equipment operation preferred
• Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.

Work Environment

Plant environment with exposure to sawdust, chemicals, extreme temperatures (hot and cold), and other inclement conditions
