Job Purpose

The Data Business Process Analyst will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of enterprise master data while specializing in analyzing designing and implementing business processes to effect change, particularly when new policies and procedures are introduced. This role will be the primary contact to the business to resolve data accuracy issues and the subject matter expert the business can rely on when changes to policy, procedure, and process occur. This role will be integral in driving data integrity and building trusted data the enterprise can use in decision making. They will also work with LP’s external service providers to manage delivery of changes, where appropriate. 

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of enterprise master data utilizing Winshuttle and SAP.
  • Perform business requirements gathering and analysis: documenting current state and desired/future state business processes, outlining impact and opportunities, and ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively and cross-functionally to develop and implement solutions.
  • Manage projects and monitor progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, recommending actions, and providing status updates, serving as a liaison between stakeholders, internal partners, and users.
  • Provide a combination of functional and business expertise to our IT partners to assist with the implementation of system changes and enhancements.
  • Contribute to the definition of user acceptance test scenarios and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) during project implementation.
  • Engage with key business stakeholders to support communication and training efforts related to new features, enhancements, and best practices.
  • Participate in special projects and other duties as needed.
  • Develop and run complex queries to extract data for various analysis purposes and data cleansing efforts.
  • Work with other IT staff, vendors, and internal customers to troubleshoot and develop effective solutions.

What do I need to be successful?

  • 5+ years of experience with master data management systems across business applications & other integration tools.
  • Or any combination of education, experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
  • SAP S4 HANA Master Data migration experience.
  • Experience with ETL tools (Winshuttle and LSMW)
  • Exceptional critical thinking skills: using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Experience engaging with all levels of the Enterprise with the ability to influence stakeholders and work collaboratively to determine acceptable solutions.
  • Attention to detail with excellent planning and organization skills and can adjust to changing demands to prioritize among multiple deliverables and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written, verbal skills, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with tenacious follow-through.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team while demonstrating key traits of creativity, initiative, and flexibility.
  • Strong team player with ability to build relationships and the experience collaborating with and supporting geographically dispersed users.
  • Preferred: experience with APIs, Information Steward, Redwood central process scheduler, SAP Data Services, or cloud integration (HCI, CPI, CIG) or other ETL tools.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or combination of education, experience, and training which demonstrates the ability to perform key responsibilities.

Work Environment

  • This position will be remote, working in a home office environment
