Job Purpose
This position will support LP’s Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a Summer Intern from May 2025 – August 2025, based in Nashville, TN. This is a paid, full-time internship designed to provide meaningful, hands-on experience in financial analysis and corporate strategy within a dynamic work environment.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Support the execution of Corporate FP&A objectives through financial analysis and process optimization.
- Work on high-impact project (to be defined closer to the internship start date) with deliverables such as:
- Conducting expense reviews or variance analysis
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes
- Developing actional recommendations for cost-saving initiatives
- Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting process that drive decision-making at LP
- Develop professional relationships and a deeper understanding of corporate finance operations
- Learn about other key finance functions (Tax, Treasury, Audit, etc.)

What do I need to be successful?
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Snowflake is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Interpersonal and communication skills
- Time management skills
Education
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Must have an expected graduation date of August 2025 or later
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher
Work Environment
- This position will work primarily in our Nashville office with occasional work from home.
