Job Description: 

Job Purpose

Provide support in developing programs to help achieve EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) objectives for the corporate EHS group, operational teams, functional departments, and/or plants. Support corporate reporting requirements, EHS/Safety Management Systems, and contribute to training and the implementation of new EHS projects and initiatives.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

Health and Safety

  • Identify and control risks.
  • Conduct inspections and investigations.
  • Deliver OHS training and participate in safety committees.

Environment

  • Ensure environmental compliance.
  • Manage permits and reporting.
  • Support sustainability projects.

Industrial Hygiene

  • Assess exposures and implement control measures.
  • Conduct sampling and interpret results.

Management Systems

  • Maintain and improve governmental and corporate management systems.
  • Prepare documentation and participate in audits.

Fire Protection System

  • Oversee inspections and equipment testing.
  • Organize training and evacuation drills.
  • Update emergency plans and raise fire safety awareness.

What do I need to be successful?

  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in EHS project management.
  • Strong communication and team motivation skills.
  • Ability to coordinate activities in a structured manner.
  • Attention to detail and process rigor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Work Environment

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in environment, OHS, industrial hygiene, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in French (70% of work is conducted in French).
  • Good proficiency in English (30% of work is conducted in English).
