Your mission is to help LP dramatically grow our Siding business by managing a territory sales team focused on repair & remodel contractors and the channels where they purchase siding products.  Repair & remodel is the company’s highest growth potential segment and you’ll be an integral part of a sales team that is actively expanding to make the most of this opportunity.

Blueprint for Success - in this role you'll need to...

  • Own a territory sales plan to achieve annual goals and growth.   
  • Manage a high-performing sales team of market-specific representatives who focus entirely on repair & remodel contractors and the channels where they purchase siding products (conduct performance evaluations, hire new staff, train and develop staff).
  • Act as a player coach both leading the team and directly driving sales results in the field.
  • Assist with increasing LP’s stocking dealer base and placing new products into the market.
  • Enhance LP relationships with key customers, develop mutual sales plans, provide conflict resolution where needed and keep internal stakeholders informed on a timely basis.
  • Communicate key customer and market trends and opportunities to improve LP’s overall understanding of the customer segment. 
  • Assess new markets within assigned territory for future focus opportunities.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner consistent with LP’s sales process.
  • Perform all duties in accordance with environmental and safety rules and regulations. 
  • Perform other duties as necessary. 




  • Demonstrated sales and negotiation skills with proven results
  • People management experience, excellent leadership skills with the confidence to lead, manage and engage team members (both direct and indirect reports)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter with a bias toward action
  • Strong skillset in written and oral communication as well as public presentation
  • Strong ability to develop and implement plans while continuously monitoring results and implementing continuous improvement methodologies
  • High level of computer proficiency – experience with platform is a plus



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing or related field preferred 



  • Minimum 7+ years of work experience as a sales professional and/or sales leader
  • Understanding of and passion for the building products industry is a plus
  • Experience in the siding and/or exterior replacement products channel is a plus



  • Home office environment 
  • Significant travel within territory required 
  • Must react to short lead customer requests, including weekends
