Louisiana-Pacific's (LP Building Solutions) Green Bay facility is growing and looking for experienced Machine Operators for the PM shift. NO SWING SHIFT!! NO HAIRNETS OR COLD WORK CONDITIONS!! NO WORKING WITH FIBERGLASS!! LP Building Solutions works a 12-hour schedule of 4 days on and then 4 days off in a great team environment where you are valued and appreciated.
Job Purpose
To operate multiple pieces of equipment
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
- Operate multiple pieces of equipment.
- Set up and calibrate equipment.
- Monitor activity through control panel & make appropriate process changes.
- Perform preventative maintenance.
- May have lead responsibility.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations.
What do I need to be successful?
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of multiple complex equipment operation.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
- Time management and multi-tasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical ability.
- Demonstrated ability to operate multiple pieces of equipment.
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in equipment operation.
- Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
